When I was 12 years old I was taught how to make a basic carrot cake and I was hooked. By the time I was in my 20s I was not only dedicated to baking yummy desserts but how they looked when served.

When my first daughter turned a year old, I became serious about making spectacular cakes. Our two daughters became my inspiration. Today, their eyes still light up when they see their special birthday cakes. Creating special, life-long memories for all of your events is a love of mine. We create cakes and desserts for any occasion with our passion and primary focus on Weddings Cakes and Desserts.

An extensive design background for cake design is my degree in Graphic Design from the renowned Pratt Institute in NY. Years on Madison Avenue as a Senior Art Director for Revlon, a designer for Conde Nast’s Bride’s Magazine and several other New York firms as well, position me perfectly for this business. Prior to studies and a career in NY,  years in floral design in Washington, DC. have further added to my valuable skillset. 

A significant contributor to STL, is my silent and active partner, my husband. An award winning art director from New York City, he brings impressive packaging and design experience. He worked in the music industry for Sony, PolyGram/Universal Music Group, and other record labels gathering multiple graphic design awards, including 4 Grammy Award nominations for Best Packaging.

Every time I plan a cake, I use all of that design experience and talent to create a beautiful cake or dessert that is absolutely delicious and unforgettable for your wedding.
