Indigo Photography is owned by Photographers Andy Chen, Jay Weinmiller, Stephanie Pulliam and Videographer, Amanda Pagano. We are Charlotte based wedding photographers and videographers documenting weddings & events all over the East Coast with a modern, fresh, and edgy style.

Jay - Jay's advertising and photographic background ranges from working for some of the largest commercial studios in the country, to opening his own advertising photography studio in Charlotte 25 yrs ago. His eye for composition and his lighting expertise has brought him many successful advertising campaigns over the yrs, some of those for clients such as Hanes, Sara Lee, Outerbanks Shirts, Rack Room Shoes, several NASCAR racing teams, Carolina Panthers, along with many local & national advertising agencies. Since co-founding Indigo Photography 8 yrs ago, Jay has discovered a rewarding & emotional photographic experience, working with his clients to created images that will last a lifetime.

Stephanie - Stephanie received a BFA in Photography & Digital Imaging from the University of Utah before moving to Charlotte where she quickly found her place at Indigo Photography. Her love for different mediums, different expressions of light and color has guided her creative energy from cyanotype to gum prints..spending hours in the darkroom developiing black & white film to her love for painting with watercolor. She spends her days enjoying life with her friends in her Country Club Heights home, growing herbs and vegetables in her garden. Also a dancer for 10+ yrs..she loves getting on the dance floor when she gets the chance..especially for the wobble or the dougie.

Andy - Andy graduated from New York University with a degree in Fine Arts and worked as a commercial shooter in NYC (where he was successful financially and bored out of his mind). Looking for a change he co-founded Indigo photography and made his home in Charlotte. Andy plays World Warcraft and rides his bicycle around town when he's not taking pictures. He lives uptown with his cat Gracie. 

Amanda - An artist and musician from childhood on, Amanda considers herself an accidental videographer. Signing up for what she thought was a film scoring class, Amanda ended up in a 3rd year film course in sound design while at Rhode Island School of Design. The professor urged her to drop out, but being a bit stubborn and wanting to prove herself, she stuck with it, fell in love with film and ended up switching her major entirely. She graduated with a degree in digital media production from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. She made her debut in audio and video at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood Florida, and started filming weddings when she moved to Charlotte 8 years ago.  She has a daughter, Savvy, 6 years old and “already smarter than me!” she says. “Nothing is more important in my life than her… but video is a close second!”
