I was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina and currently live in Mount Pleasant, NC. After high school, I moved to Boone to pursue a degree in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology at Appalachian State University. A fun fact, both of my parents attended Appalachian. It is also where I met my husband!
Aside from being a wedding photographer, I am also a believer, wife, sister, daughter and mother. Daniel and I have two precious little girls named June and Lily. You are more than likely to find me crying during the father/daughter dance at any wedding because of them.
Experience Matters
My photography started in the summer of 2007 while working full-time at an advertising agency. I knew that what I was doing was not what I was destined to do. Over the years I have photographed anything and everything which eventually lead me to focus mainly on wedding photography.
Weddings are one of the biggest days of your life and the images produce from that day are incredibly important. I have had the privilege of working besides amazing couples that are in love with each other. Being able to provide them with family heirlooms is a great honor and exactly what I am meant to do.
Being a wedding photographer has constantly allowed me to visit new places and build new relationships with some amazing people! Over the past eleven years, I’ve photographed weddings from North Carolina to Virginia and the Caribbean. It's such an honor to be considered for one of the biggest decisions for your wedding day.
