Chris "DJ Crackerjack" Roland - Owner
Lead DJ Chris “DJ CrackerJack” Roland’s DJ career began in the early 90’s with his first radio gig on board the USS Mt. Whitney while serving in the Navy. This is when he earned the nickname CrackerJack. He then continued to broaden his skills while performing in dance clubs, college parties, and weddings in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. He successfully managed multiple award winning stores for large retail corporations while simultaneously building his DJ career. Before settling in Charlotte, NC, Chris fired up dance floors in Illinois, New York, Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. He attended Connecticut School of Broadcasting of Charlotte and interned for a radio morning show. Chris has been the DJ/MC for hundreds of weddings and events. Some of his strengths are his powerful mic presence, talent for reading crowds and razor sharp mixing ability. He is passionate about sharing his time and talents with organizations such as Operation Marry Me Military, Arthritis Foundation, children’s cancer research and Special Olympics. Chris has been married to his wife and business partner for 14 years. They have two high spirited children and a spoiled dachshund named Lucy. A highlight to his career will always be sharing moments with couples and moving people emotionally through the power of music. |
Jessica Roland - Owner
Event Consultant & Coordinator
Jessica Roland is the co-owner of CrackerJack Sound Decisions with her husband Chris, aka “DJ CrackerJack”. Like Chris, she was born and raised in Indiana and has also lived in Florida, New York and now resides in North Carolina. For several years she worked behind the scenes maintaining the business including advertising, marketing, financial planning and event consulting. As the company grew so did her love for coordinating events. She is detail oriented and has the ability to anticipate the needs of those around her. Jessica’s goal is to make sure the Wedding Day is stress free as possible for the couple, family and friends. Helping brides pull their dream wedding together offers an amazing level of satisfaction. With a background in retail management and healthcare, Jessica has acquired numerous skills that crossover into the event coordinating field, especially building personal and professional relationships. Being the mother of two wonderful teenagers is both an entertaining and fulfilling part of her life.

Robert "DJ Wonderbread" Porter
Robert Porter (DJ Wonderbread) has been setting dance-floors ablaze since 1999, when he began DJing in San Diego, CA. Starting his career simultaneously in both the mobile DJ and nightclub industries, Robert learned early how to musically “direct" the energy of a crowd in both settings. He went on to become the Entertainment Director and Resident DJ for a company of sports bars and nightclubs in San Diego known as The Verant Group, from 2005 to 2010, and continued spinning at various locations in Southern California, including special appearances at Sea World. Capitalizing on his background in video production, he shifted into Video DJing in the early 2000's, and has made several of his own music video remix edits. He also produces exercise mixes for RockMyRun.com, a website that streams and downloads DJ mixes for workouts and running.
Robert moved to the Charlotte, NC, area in August of 2014, and is enjoying the change of scenery and the new crowds he has been playing for here on the east coast

Matt "DJ Matty P" Passante
Matt Passante, aka DJ Matty P, is originally from Denville, NJ. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in journalism and mass communications. While in college Matt was an intern for SiriusXM Radio and the Howard Stern Show. He digitized Howard Stern specialty shows and served as Intern for on-air personalities. He also assisted with live sound production and board operations. Matt has been Djing for 7 years in clubs and private parties in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina. After graduating 4 years ago he moved to Charlotte to work as a Project Coordinator at NASCAR. One of his favorite places to visit is Miami to learn different DJing styles. He met Chris during an audition at a local nightclub and has served as DJ for CrackerJack Trivia for the last 3 years.

Ashley "DJ ATF" Foushee
Ashley "DJ ATF" Foushee was born and raised in Chapel Hill, NC, so naturally he is a diehard Tar Heels fan. Ashley has always been involved with music, from creating beats, recording and producing mixtapes for inspiring artists to DJing local house parties, school dances and other functions. In high school he was given the name DJ Judgement Day, which he used up until recently. Ashley has always enjoyed "reading the crowd" and actively engaging his audience while playing music, which allows him to share in the pleasures of dancing and performing. And, he has a strong skill set in electronics, music equipment and computers – in fact he has built countless computers from the ground up.
When he's not DJing or producing music, you can find him in the kitchen experimenting with different creations of sauces, dry rubs and recipes.
He likes to share his talents, both behind the DJ booth and in the kitchen, with whomever wants "THE ATF EXPERIENCE!”
